This morning we worshiped with the saints at Petete OPCU. We always appreciate the time we get to spend with these people.
Currently, the church is worshiping in this stick structure. They are working hard to build a brick structure just behind and praying that God will continue to provide the funds that they need. In America, I would struggle to keep my little ones quiet, here I struggle to keep them from playing in the dirt and picking off pieces of the grass mats they are sitting on. ;-)
During the service, the pastor invited all the people who are struggling with sicknesses to come forward to be prayed for. It was a beautiful expression of pastoral love.
After the service the widows stood to say thank you for the love and support they have received. Many of you might remember Margaret from this blog post? She is getting along, by God's grace and is on the far back/right in this picture.
After church we drove home past another OPCU. I got to see my little friend, Chris. He is getting so big! His burns have healed well, except that he cannot lift his right arm fully above his head due to the extreme amount of scar tissue. Ideally, he would probably need a minor surgery to clip the skin so that it can heal in such a way that he can have full mobility.
