"to open their eyes, so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faithin me." Acts 26:18

About Us

Eric and Dianna met at Covenant College and were married shortly after graduation.  About a year later, we moved to the Chicago area so Eric could study for his Masters of Divinity at Mid-America Reformed  Seminary.  After graduation, Eric took a call to Immanuel's Reformed Church in Salem, Oregon, where he served for 7 years before taking the call to serve in Uganda.  The Lord has blessed us with 9 precious children:  6 homegrown, two sons adopted from Liberia in 2007, and one daughter adopted from Uganda in 2016.

We moved to Mbale, Uganda in the summer of 2012 when Eric received a call to serve as a Missionary Evangelist with the Orthodox Presbyterian Church Uganda Mission.  Eric trains local village pastors at a small school called Knox Theological College.  He also supports and encourages several village churches that are all members of the Presbyterian Church of Uganda.  He is also very busy sharing pastoral duties and doing a lot of work with the youth at New Life Orthodox Presbyterian Church of Mbale, which is located in a slum area just outside of Mbale known as Kikamba (pronounced "chi-kahm-bah").  Dianna stays busy as a wife and mom, teaching our 9 children at home, managing the compound, leading a ladies Bible study and doing various ministry where God leads.
