A Great Day!

Last Sunday was a wonderful Sunday for Mbale OPCU.  The church became its own particular church, installed Charles Magala as pastor and ordained Tabitya Robert as Elder.  Messulamu, who has been translating for our church for a long time now, was ordained as pastor.  Starting next week, he will begin preaching at our church plant up on the mountain.  Perhaps you remember that for many months now, we have had a group walking 10 Kilometers every Sunday in order to worship with us.  We have been praying and praying that the Lord would bless them with a church up where they are.  Please pray for this group of believers as they begin worship.

Pastor Eric Makwasi for Kama OPCU asked the questions for installation and ordination.

Pastor John Rogers of New Zealand, who is here teaching a course at KTC gave the prayer for Pastor Charles.

We were also joined by Pastors Segula Robert of Nampologoma OPCU, Timothy Hisa of Kaiti OPCU and Dan Kyabene of Petete OPCU and some ruling elders from the churches.  I'm so thankful for these men and all that they sacrifice to do the work that they do.  What a blessing they are!

We are so thankful that the Lord has raised up for the church here another Godly man as a leader.  The harvest is plentiful and the laborers are few, so we are thankful for this answer to prayer!
