At the Lake in Georgia...
We just finished a week at the lake with my family. Here are some memories...
My dad did a science show for us, including breaking a raquet ball frozen by liquid nitrogen...
We also shot off fire works
...and watched rich neighbors across the water shoot theirs off.
And celebrated Matthew's birthday! Happy 9th birthday, Matthew!
A day with part of the Georgia cousins...
We spent a week in Georgia. One of the days that we were there, we spent with my brother and his precious family.
This is baby Mercy, all cozy with her mommy. Isn't she precious?
They had planned all sorts of fun activities for us...like making t-shirts
and shooting guns...
and decorating cup-cakes...
We also met them at church for evening service.
Isn't my little niece a doll?
My other brother came to church too, so here are ALL the cousins on my side. A whole lot of blessing from the Lord is pictured here!! :)
Back up on the mountain...
We haven't been on wi-fi for a while, so these pictures are a bit of a "catch up."
We spent an afternoon up at Covenant, showing the kids around. It was a very hot day. The south started to have a heat wave right as we crossed the Mason-Dixon line. Our last two days in Salem were upper 70s/lower 80s, and then we drove straight into 105 and humid!! Yuck!

The kids loved looking at the display outside of the biology department.
And climbing on the rocks...
Isn't she yummy? :)

North Dakota to Indiana
We are now in Georgia...here are a few pictures from along the way...
We stayed with friends in N. Dakota who have 12 kids. Even though there were 20 kids and 4 adults in one house, we all agreed it just felt like two families visiting....
We've spent time looking cute... (and getting our first teeth!)
And playing chess...
And celebrating a birthday... (much to Rebecca's delight...still special days in the midst of chaos... :)
And meeting "sort-of" new friends...
Pen-pals to be exact...
And old friends that we've missed dearly since they moved from Oregon...
And having sword fights...
And becoming a smiling dead person...slain by one's father....
And looking cool in bright colors...
And sleeping the miles away...lots of them...5,000 or so and counting...
