DPP #7 Kid's day

Today, we went to a village church for a kid's day.  Sunday school classes from 4 different churches came together and each class sang an English song, recited 2 memory verses, did a skit and a dance, and sang a Luganda song.  Our kids joined them as well, by reciting Psalm 139.  It was a fun day, but it was a loooong day.  It started at 10AM and went until 2:30, when they finally served lunch.

While the program was super fun to watch, we were so tired about 3 hours into the program.  Talitha finally fell asleep on daddy.

And again in the car.

On thing that is really surprising me is how well the little ones are adjusting to things here.  The differences in culture don't faze them any more.  The first couple months, they would stick right by our side, but today, the moment we pulled up in the truck, they jumped out and ran to play...just like they would in the States.  This is such a blessing and an answer prayer for us!

It also doesn't faze them, when a random children decide they want to sit next to the mzungu kid. :)

This picture was just too funny not to post.  Ha!  I love his silly faces! :)

Here's the whole gang!  Fun kids! :)
